Nowadays parents are confronted with great difficulties in finding spare time for their family. Most of the day they are at work. Children are left alone or with relatives or nannies. The life in the Church asks for commitment and perseverance for the holy things. Children learn from adults how important is going to church and a live relationship with God. The preschoolers represent the most vulnerable age group because now it is the time when the basis for the future development is set. The psychologists have proven with detailed studies that education and love received by the child in his first seven years of life are essential for the entire existence. The Christian parents prove with their own spiritual life the importance of faith within the daily routine. Children copy their parents’ behaviour. The model they offer influences the child’s personality. Their struggle with passions and the pursuit to replace them with virtues are considered a mandatory task for the adults that want to raise happy children that love God. The Christian teaching contains lots of advice concerning the children’s upbringing. Parents are asked to gain self-control and to encourage the little ones to respect themselves, their parents and any other person around them. Thus the love for God becomes the prerequisite for a harmonious development of the preschooler.Downloads
