Abstract

The topic of the following article belongs to Biblical and Sistematical Theology domain of The New Testament from an Orthodox perspective. Reasons of this research are enumerated and tipically explained in the third chapther of the first Epistle to Timothy, where the attributes of Church Servants (Bishops, Priests, Deacons) are described. The objectives of this paper are to analyse the complex personality of those left by God in the world to serve His Church, as they are masterfully portrayed by the Holy Apostle Paul in the First Epistle to Timothy, in the writings of the Holy Fathers of the Church and in the works of contemporary theologians.
